Healing Salve is a little jar of herbal love, created with the gentle healing power of calendula and lavender. I make my calendula oil the old-fashioned way, using the folk method of letting the sun slowly warm the flowers as they infuse into organic olive oil for 4–6 weeks. This allows the oil to pull out all the wonderful properties of this beautiful healing flower.
After straining the oil, I infuse it a second time with fresh calendula and lavender, creating a deeply nourishing blend that brings even more of the plant’s goodness into this salve.
This is my go-to all-purpose salve for everyday skin care — helping soothe dry skin, nourish cuticles, calm minor cuts and scrapes, and support the skin as it heals. It’s also gentle enough for little ones’ dry skin needs.
